On August 12th, 2014 at a luxurious resort in Bali, Heather Mack and her boyfriend Tommy Shaefer loaded a suitcase into the back of a waiting taxi. They told the driver they’d be back shortly. They just needed to finish checking out. But after waiting two whole hours, they never returned. When Hotel security popped the trunk of the cab to remove the suitcase, they noticed something smeared on the abandoned luggage...it appeared to be blood.
